Nova Era, an ensemble of classically trained musicians, perform Thursday through Sunday at Disney Springs, Florida. Sometimes dressed in their 18th century costumes and powdered wigs (and sometimes in simple black) the trio updates Mozart, Vivaldi, Beethoven and Bach by adding drums, electric bass, and keyboards to traditional string instruments.
Nova Era was Founded in 1999 by Producer/Composer Andres Roca and Oboist Maria Luisa Coppelli.
Nova Era’s distinct sound is evident in original works by producer/composer Andres Roca. Roca has created a special chemistry with his focus on the oboe, cello, and violin.
Popular demand for Nova Era has the band performing around the U.S. and Europe
Nova Era Performs at the Palace of Versailles
It was a luxurious and glamorous evening to remember. The magnificent Palace of Versailles, once the official residence of the Kings of France, inspired an equally magnificent performance by Nova Era. The Hall of Battles served as concert venue for this one night only European Destination Concert Event.
The longest hall in the Chateau, the Hall of Battles recounts French history through its wondrous masterpieces. From the founding of the monarchy to the wars of Emperor Napoleon I, all of its great battles are depicted in a cycle of monumental paintings.
Themed with an 18th century Marie Antoinette flair, Nova Era enchanted their audience with 90 minutes of non-stop Classical Music with a Modern Groove. As stated by one excited concert attendee, “You guys really rocked!”
